15th Century dress in mustard yellow twill wool - size M
15th Century dress in mustard yellow twill wool. Sleeves is sold separately.
Information
During the later periods of the Middle Ages the mid-dresses gradually became tighter and more figure-hugging over the waist and upper body. Dress models with lacing in the center front began to appear during the late 14th century and onwards. The dress was made out of wool and the quality and color of the fabric that the dress was made out of depended on what you could afford. Our model has a pleated skirt with a tailored upper body. The front lacing has eyelets. Eyelets are also palced around the armehole to enable to fasten a loose sleeve. The dress will look it´s best if you pair it with a chemise under. However, we have made a sover patch on the inside of the lacing so its possible to wear the dress without a chemise as well. (Some older models do not have the patch).
