Our late medieval liripipe hood has a tighter fit. Instead of wedges at the front and rear, there are wedges in the sides of the hood and buttons in the front. The buttons are made of fabric and allows you to take the hood on and off without removing any complicated headgear. The garment is fully lined with linen and belongs to the latter part of the medieval period. The late medieval liripipe hood can be turned to a Chaperon.
